Complaint Policy and Dispute Resolution Process

If a panel member has a complaint or dispute it wants iappraisal to review, the following process will apply to the resolution of the matter to satisfy compliance with Tex. Occ. Code § 1104.162 and 22 Tex. Admin. Code § 159.162:

 

  1. The appraiser must file the complaint or dispute by submitting it via email to support@independentamc.com.

  2. Once received, it will be acknowledged in writing.

  3. After processing, it will be escalated to upper management to identify and assess any concerns provided by the appraiser.

  4. Once that assessment is completed the complaint or dispute will be presented to iappraisal’s third-party compliance consultant for guidance and a final resolution determination.

  5. The appraiser will be notified in writing of the final resolution determination made; and,

  6. The appraiser may request in writing all relevant documentation associated with the complaint or dispute.
